The Perth & Kinross Council has launched the 2021-22 Community Investment Fund to support local projects which tackle inequalities in communities across Perth and Kinross.
The Community Investment Fund provides an exciting opportunity for people to work together to create a confident, ambitious and fairer Perth and Kinross, for all who live and work here.
Themes
- Economy: Buy and eat locally; promote Perth and Kinross as a place to live, work and visit.
- Education: Look after you and your family’s health and wellbeing; support the children to experience and enjoy school and other activities.
- Environment: Take pride in your local community by respecting your surroundings and getting involved in the upkeep of the green spaces.
- Equalities, Empowerment and Fairness: Get involved in your local community supporting projects and improving quality of life.
Funding Information
£600,000 is available in total across Perth and Kinross.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for funding, you must:
- demonstrate how your project tackles local issues and inequalities and improves quality of life in your community;
- be a not-for-profit, community group, social enterprise or local charity. Businesses, individuals, regional groups and national charities are not eligible to apply for funding. They can, of course, be partners in a community-led project;
- be seeking funding for a project which benefits members of your community in a Council Ward in Perth and Kinross only. Note that the three Council Wards in Perth City are being considered as one larger pot;
- not be applying for a project for which you have already received funding from the Community Investment Fund;
- not already be in receipt of monies from the Council for the service or project included in your new proposal, unless the proposal clearly demonstrates that it will significantly improve the service, or make it sustainable; and
- have a bank account that has two signatories who are not related nor live at the same address.
