The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFEPWM) has announced the call for proposals for project blueprints under the Polish Climate Support priority program.
The aim of the program is to support the cooperation of Polish entities with partners from the countries of the EU neighborhood, facing challenges similar to those in Poland, on their way to transformation towards a green economy.
Thematic Areas
The projects can be implemented in at least one of the following thematic areas:
- shaping national,
- regional and local climate policy,
- improvement of air quality,
- improvement of energy efficiency in buildings,
- development of zero- and low-emission transport and
- transformation of coal regions.
Funding Information
Polish entities may apply for financial support for the implementation of one of three types of projects: investment, consulting or mixed. They will be able to receive up to PLN 2 million for investment and mixed projects, and up to PLN 1 million for consulting projects.
Beneficiaries
The beneficiaries of the program may be Polish entities: entrepreneurs, Polish local government units or their associations, research units, non-governmental organizations, consortia with the participation of entities that implement projects for foreign (local) partners. Foreign partners may be non-profit organizations from the country where the project is implemented, national or local authorities, scientific, research or educational units.
Eligibility Criteria
- International entities interested in participation in the program as the foreign (local) partner are encouraged to contact Polish embassies in the relevant country.
- This call for proposals covers projects implemented in cooperation with partners from one of six countries of the Western Balkans, ie Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Serbia.
