The Public Resources Foundation is pleased to announce the NOBUKO Fund to support NPOs that help children living in difficult situations overcome difficulties and maximize their potential.
They hope that children who are “positive” and “active” will grow up as Nobuko himself did, and they will use Nobuko’s life trajectory and achievements as a gift for future children.
Support Content
- Areas to be supported:
- Activities such as NPOs that support single mothers.
- Activities such as NPOs that support children who have been abused.
- Activities such as NPOs that support children who have potential but cannot improve their abilities for some reason.
- Support content and number of cases to be adopted:
- For each of the above three fields, two groups (six groups in total) will be selected through open recruitment and screening, and in principle, continuous subsidies will be provided for three years.
- Up to 2.5 million yen per group per year About 6 groups per year (planned):
- In principle, the grant period is three years, but every year, the continuation grant will be examined based on the report and the next year’s plan, and the decision to continue the next year will be made.
- The number of cases adopted and the amount of subsidy may change depending on the judgment of the judging committee.
- There is no specific use of funds.
Funding Information
- Up to 2.5 million yen per group per year (7.5 million yen in 3 years).
Support Target
- Mother support groups, DV prevention groups, abuse prevention / abused children support groups, learning support groups for children with difficulties, whereabouts and learning support for children who do not attend school / withdrawal, support facilities for persons with disabilities, nursery schools, etc.
- Non-profit organizations such as after-school care and support groups for people in need (general corporations are also acceptable).
- Limited to groups operating in Japan.
