Deadline: 31-Aug-21
The Puget Sound Energy Foundation is seeking applications for its 2021 Competitive Grants Program to help their communities HEAL from the pandemic.
PSE Foundation is committed to helping their communities HEAL from the pandemic:
- HEAL: Address health and welfare insecurities that have been created or intensified by the pandemic, such as childcare, housing, food and other essential services.
- Enable: Create partnership investments with local community based organizations to enable their efforts to deliver “Healing” programs in PSE service and operation areas.
- Actionable: Fund delivery of services, programs and products that can be quickly deployed or implemented.
- Leverage: Fund opportunities that leverage other community investments.
As part of their HEALing, fifty percent of their funding will target grant awards to organizations that focus on and support the communities of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).
They welcome local nonprofit organizations serving the communities of PSE’s 10-county service area to apply. Their application process remains simple. They understand that their nonprofit partners need to spend their valuable time serving their clients and communities. That’s why they’ve enlisted PSE employee volunteers to help review grant applications from organizations serving the communities where they live and work. They are all in this together.
