The City of Ipswich is currently seeking applications for its Quick Response Funding to support community organisations delivering small community projects that address local needs and achieve community development outcomes.

Objectives

The Quick Response Funding Program seeks to achieve the community’s vision for a Safe, Inclusive, Creative and Active City, as outlined predominantly in Council’s Corporate Plan, iFuture; Council’s Community Development Strategy and the 2021-2031 Active Ipswich Strategy.
The Quick Response Funding Program supports one off projects and events that are of benefit to the local community and that aligns with one or more of the five pillars of the Community Development Strategy and/or the goals of the Active Ipswich Strategy:
- Capacity Building and Resilience
- Wellbeing
- Inclusion and Connectedness
- Culture and Diversity
- Civic Participation and Leadership

Funding Information

Maximum funding of up to $1,000 is available per initiative.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Quick Response Funding applications must:
- provide direct benefits to the residents of the Ipswich local government area
- demonstrate the expected outcomes for the community in line with council’s strategic plan, iFuture Corporate Plan 2021-2026.
Not-for-profit community organisations that meet all of the following:
- operate or provide services within the Ipswich Local Government Area
- have an Australian Business Number (ABN)
- have no overdue debts and no overdue funding acquittals with Ipswich City Council
- have appropriate insurances and adhere to sound workplace health and safety practices
- are financially solvent and capable of managing public funds
- give permission for council to publish the name of the recipient, details of the project/event and the funding amount in accordance with council’s requirements under the Local Government Act 2009 and the Local Government Regulation 2012.
