Applications are now open for the Regional Arts Development Fund Program.
The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Noosa Shire Council to support the development of local arts and culture. It supports local arts and cultural development opportunities by providing one-off, short-term, project-based financial assistance.
The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is delivered as a partnership between the Queensland Government (Arts Queensland) and Noosa Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
Objectives
RADF objectives are to support arts and cultural activities in a way that:
- Builds local cultural capacity, cultural innovation and community pride.
- Builds cultural skills and experiences.
- Provides opportunities for applicants to leverage this grant to obtain further funding from other sources.
- Provides opportunities for applicants to deliver on Council’s strategic goals and identified key initiatives.
- Provides public value for Queensland communities, in this case, the Noosa Shire community, and
- Distributes funding in an equitable, transparent and sustainable manner.
Priorities
Noosa Council has set the following two priorities for RADF Round 15. Up to 50% of the RADF funding pool will go towards projects which address these two priorities.
- Recovery and Resilience;
- Younger and Older.
Funding Information
- The smallest grant amount available $1,000 and the largest grant amount is $5,000.
Eligibility Criteria
The RADF grant program is available to applicants who are:
- A legal not for profit entity;
- An individual (over the age of 18 or have the application co-signed by their legal guardian confirming they will take responsibility for managing any funding that may be offered to the applicant); or
- A business;
- The applicant has an auspicing body.
- And who have:
- an active ABN;
- a bank account in the name of the legal entity.
