The Administration for Children and Families – ACYF/CB is inviting applications for the Regional Partnership Grants to Increase the Well-Being of, and to Improve the Permanency Outcomes for, Children and Families Affected By Opioids and Other Substance Abuse.
The RPG program aims to build evidence on the effectiveness of targeted approaches that improve outcomes for children and families affected by opioids and other substance use disorders.
These targeted grants will be awarded to regional partnerships that provide, through interagency collaboration and integration of programs and services, activities and services that are designed to increase the well-being of, improve permanency outcomes for, and enhance the safety of children who are in out-of-home placements or are at risk of entering out-of-home placements as a result of a parent’s or caretaker’s substance abuse.

Eligibility Criteria
- The Secretary has the authority to make grants to regional partnerships.
- As required by the legislation, regional partnership means a collaborative agreement (which may be established on an interstate, state, or intrastate basis) entered into by mandatory and optional partners.
- Applicants must identify a primary applicant responsible for administering the grant.
- Any member of the Regional Partnership is eligible to be a lead applicant provided that:
- the partner is one of the eligible entities and,
- the member agency or organization has the capacity to sufficiently monitor program activities or services, funding, and reporting requirements described in this funding opportunity.
