Applications are now open for the Restorative Justice and Community Conferencing Grant Program to support the Maryland Judiciary’s mission to provide fair, efficient, and effective justice for all, MACRO’s Conflict Resolution Grants provide funding for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) programs and projects which will benefit the courts and people of Maryland.
In this funding category they are particularly interested in programs and projects which take a restorative approach to resolving criminal and juvenile conflicts. Additionally, they are interested in conflict resolution services that work to address the underlying root of conflicts, repair harm to individuals and communities, encourage dialogue to build greater understanding between differing groups, and involve everyone impacted in the resolution of their own conflicts.
Generally, courts and local government agencies within the state of Maryland, non-profit organizations, and institutions of higher education working in Maryland are eligible to apply.
