The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking proposals for “Organisation of Youth Co:Lab India Springboard Programme, National Innovation Challenge and Dialogue and other initiatives to identify and support innovative youth entrepreneurship”.
Youth Co:Lab aims to support nascent, early and/or growth stage youth entrepreneurs, with founders between the ages of 18 to 29 years.
Objective
- During the course of the engagement, the service provider will be required to successfully design and implement the Youth Co:Lab 2022-2023 cycle with the National Innovation Challenge and Dialogue and support youth entrepreneurs through an incubation programme (National Springboard Programme) and disburse grants to the best 8 teams/startups.

Scope of Work
- The service provider, during the course of this engagement, will be expected to design and manage the Youth Co:Lab 2022-23 cycle by implementing the communications and outreach strategy and conducting the National Innovation Challenge, the National Springboard Programme, the National Innovation Dialogue events and Youth Co:Lab Finale in consultation with the Youth Co:Lab team and partners.

Activities
- To achieve the above objective, the service provider is expected to carry out the following activities:
- Design and implement the Youth Co:Lab 2022-2023 Roll Out Plan that would include the communications strategy and plan, Service Provider’s network with the established media houses and PR organizations, incubation (Springboard) plan and details.
- Needs assessment of the 20 selected start-ups which will be leveraged to create a report
- Outreach and assessment of applications.
- Conduct the 2-month national springboard programme with 20 teams (2 members each), including the pitch day/innovations showcase.
- Conduct 2-day National Innovation Challenge and Dialogue with relevant skill sessions, workshops, networking events etc followed by the Youth Co:Lab Finale;
- Management of 8 grants to distribute among the top 8 teams which may be released in tranches
- Support in knowledge management of the programme.
Eligibility Criteria
- The lead Service Provider/service provider should have demonstrated at least 5 years of previous experience and competence in conducting nationwide and multi state incubation programmes for social entrepreneurship with demonstrated experience of supporting at least 15 youth startups.
- Service provider should have a robust network of at least 10 organizational and institutional stakeholders (including govt, pvt sector, CSOs) in the youth social entrepreneurship/green entrepreneurship space that will be leveraged for this initiative along with outreach;
- Service provider should demonstrate 3 years previous experience and competence in hosting successful social media campaigns reaching large audiences (up to 15,000 persons per campaign).

- If bidders do not meet any of the above listed criteria, their proposals will not be considered for further evaluation.
