The State Support Services Center (RTK) has launched a call for applications for Raising awareness of domestic violence and reducing the demand for sex.
Purpose
The aim of the support is to reduce domestic violence and gender-based violence in Estonian society.
Expected Results
- The output indicator of the support is awareness-raising activities to reduce domestic violence and reduce the demand for buying sex.
- As a result of the funded project:
- at least one campaign on domestic and gender-based violence has been carried out, involving men as positive role models;
- made at least three short films on domestic violence against children and young people;
- At least two awareness-raising activities have been carried out to reduce the demand for paid sex, reaching at least 12,000 people in Estonia.
Funding Information
- Total budget EUR 200 000.
- The grant will be allocated to one project in the amount of 200,000 euros.
Supported Activities
- conducting an awareness-raising campaign on domestic and gender-based violence;
- making short films on domestic violence against children and young people;
- carrying out awareness-raising activities on trafficking in human beings for the purpose of prostitution and sexual exploitation.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant may be a legal person under public or private law, non-governmental organisation registered in Estonia or an international organisation acting in Estonia.
Evaluation Criteria
Eligible applications will be evaluated by experts on the basis of the following evaluation criteria:
- Criterion 1: Competence, roles and project team work processes of the project team members;
- Criterion 2: Involvement and roles of the project partner;
- Criterion 3: Creative approach and media strategy for the awareness-raising campaign on domestic and gender-based violence;
- Criterion 4: Short films on domestic violence against children and young people and supporting materials / learning material and a plan for showing, introducing and disseminating them;
- Criterion 5: Awareness-raising activities on trafficking in human beings for the purpose of prostitution and sexual exploitation, including a concept, timetable and action plan;
- Criterion 6: Measurability of the expected results of the activities in the project application;
- Criterion 7: Innovativeness and added value of the project;
- Criterion 8: Risk assessment and mitigation;
- Criterion 9: Cost-effectiveness of the project – necessity, justification of the expenditure and transparency of the budget.
