The Northern Territory (NT) Government has announced a Grants Program for Safe, Respected, and Free from Violence Prevention.
The Northern Territory (NT) Government is committed to investing in prevention projects that build on the growing domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV) are community-led and tailored for the setting in which they operate, and reflect and address the complexity of the underlying drivers of DFSV. To be most effective, DFSV prevention initiatives need to reflect the complexity of the issue and aim to challenge the norms, structures and practices that support and help drive violence.
Funding information
- A maximum of $450,000 over three years is available per project
- An additional up to $75,000 can be applied per project to support evaluation of the grant project over its three year duration.
Eligibilty Criteria
- Be a resident of the Northern Territory with an auspicing organisation; or
- If an organisation, be based and registered in the Northern Territory; and
- Demonstrate that the funds will contribute to the primary prevention of domestic, family and/or sexual violence in the Northern Territory.
- Organisations based and registered in the NT are able to partner with prevention specialists that may or may not be NT residents.
