The Bank of America’s Sarah G. McCarthy Memorial Foundation is considering requests from charitable organizations located in Peabody, MA or whose work directly impacts the residents of Peabody.
The trustees are specifically interested in the areas of education, housing & shelter, agriculture, food, health and historical research.
Funding Information
- Grants range from 2K to 15K based on how well the proposed use meets a given need, collaborative effort is evidenced, and the number of persons impacted is quantifiable.
- Grants are made year to year with a five-year maximum. Exceptions will only be made upon demonstrated need.
Criteria
- Requests for general operating and program support will be considered, as will requests for specific program-enabling capital improvements.
- Grants may be subject to matching obligations and payable over multiple years.
- On very rare occasions, the trustees will consider needs for emergency grants.
