The Two Ridings Community Foundation is seeking applications for Scarborough District Children & Young People’s Fund to increase opportunities for children & young people to thrive in the Boroughs of Scarborough District. In particular it will help promote good mental health and wellbeing.
- increase and/or improve mental health and wellbeing provision for children and young people in Scarborough District.
- empower young people to develop their own initiatives.
- enable young people to take an active role in the designing and delivery of activities in their communities.
- involve young people in the decision-making process of the allocation of this fund.

Examples of activities that could be included:
- You know best about what would support good mental health and well-being for children and young people in Scarborough District. They are very open to considering a wide range of different projects and are keen to have a variety of activity going on, accessible across the district, to support young people’s mental health in diverse communities. Activities could be:
- constituted voluntary and community groups
- registered charities
- co-operatives
- social enterprises
- community interest companies (CIC’s will be subject to additional scrutiny as outlined in the grant making policy)
