The Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas is inviting applications for its Security Impact Grant Program that enables non-profit Jewish agencies serving the Greater Dallas area to meet current and new needs in the community and impact more individuals and organizations across the Jewish Community.

Impact areas

Grants are available to all mission-aligned Jewish 501c3 organizations serving Greater Dallas to support the launch of new programs, incubation of new ideas, expansion or enhancement of existing programs, and enable Jewish organizations to further expand their work in one of the Federation’s Impact Areas :

Jewish Education
Human and Social Services
Community building and engagement
Security
Jewish Life, Learning, and Identity

There is no limit to the number of grant applications to an organization can submit nor is there a limit to the funds requested per project. The duration of a grant-funded program or initiative is 12 months up to 3 years.

Eligibility Criteria

Security Impact Grant Criteria:
- Open to all Jewish 501 (c) 3 organizations serving the greater Dallas Jewish population that meet the Federation’s mission: “To help ensure the continuity of a strong and vibrant Jewish community in Dallas, Israel and throughout the world.
- Funded programs must take place within 12 months of award, with a duration not to exceed 3 years
- No limit on funding amount requested per program
- No limit on the number of applications submitted by an organization
In submitting a security grant request, applicants commit to the following expectations:
- Applicant Organization must have a “Security / Vulnerability Site Assessment” from the Community Security Initiative (CSI) within the past 24 months.
- Applicant Organization must have a Community Security Initiative MOU / Liability agreement signed by their organizational Board Chair every two years.
- Applicant Organization must have their own “Security Plan” or EOP “Emergency Operations Plan” in place and approved by their Executive Director within the past 24 months.
- Applicant Organization must have a minimum of 3 emergency contacts listed in the “CSI Alert communications system”, updated every January.
