The ”la Caixa” Foundation is inviting non-profit organizations to promote initiatives aimed especially at people who are in a situation of social vulnerability and whose objective is to improve their quality of life and promote equal opportunities.
The purpose of this call is to support projects in municipalities with under 10,000 inhabitants that are adapted to their region and their social needs to improve quality of life and create opportunities for families, children, adolescents, women, the elderly and people at risk of social exclusion.
Objectives
The objective of this call is to promote projects in rural areas, adapted to their territorial characteristics and social needs, to improve living conditions, generate opportunities and prevent the risk of exclusion of people in the territorial area in which they are located.
- The alignment of the project with the social need described, the solidity of the project from the point of view of design and methodology, as well as the presence of a coherent and feasible implementation plan are taken into consideration.
- The evaluation especially considers the robustness of the project development planning and monitoring proposal. The methodology is evaluated on the basis of an adequate formulation of objectives (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and timed) and the method of compiling and analyzing the indicators for their monitoring.
- The design of the activities and their definition in a concrete and coherent way are also evaluated to achieve the planned objectives, and the proposed schedule.

- Socio-health care and psychosocial support for people in a situation of illness, in palliative or end-of-life care, to improve your quality of life and that of your family
- Temporary residential resources for sick people and/or their families
- Fight Against Poverty and Social Exclusion
- Social and educational development of children and adolescents in situations of vulnerability and of their families
- Social inclusion of people at risk of poverty and exclusion
- Psychosocial care for people in a situation of addiction or violence, especially the gender violence
- Temporary residential resources for young people and adults in the process of social inclusion
- Social and Labor Insertion
- Training to improve the employability of people with disabilities or mental disorders and vulnerable groups and vulnerable groups
- Support for labor insertion processes in the ordinary company, as well as the promotion of self-employment
- Accompanying people in the context of insertion companies and special centers of employment
- Promotion of the Value of the Local Community and Social Cohesion
- Promotion of social participation and the creation of social ties between rural territories
- Diversity management and community mediation
- Education and prevention of behaviors related to addictions and violence
Funding Information
- Projects submitted to this call may apply for grants for an amount of up to 50.000 €.
- The amount requested must be linked to the execution of a project with a duration of up to 12 months.
Eligibility Criteria
The entities that can present themselves to the call are:
- Non-profit entities
- Entities of the social economy that, among the purposes indicated in their statutes, state explicitly as its main objective the social interest or social cohesion
Public administrations are excluded from this call.
The requirements for entities are:
- Be accredited in the new application for calls designate a person as the managing user of the project.
- Be domiciled in Spain.
- Be registered in the corresponding administrative registry.
- Have your own NIF.
- Have statutes and a minimum age of 1 year of activity, since its constitution.
