Submissions are now open for the Community Grants Program to support a network of community organizations who are leading the way to ensure equitable and accessible care so that all women in Canada can lead healthier lives.
The Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health™ Community Grants program funds local charitable programs, dedicated to fostering health equity by increasing access to care and support, raising awareness for women’s unique health needs, and providing support for critical women’s health research.
Grants are available for new and existing initiatives that will help to create positive health outcomes for women, and that:
- Increase women’s access to care and support that promotes health and wellbeing
- Support the development of research that focuses on women’s health issues and solutions.
- Drive awareness and understanding of issues that impact women’s health equity.
Applications are invited from Canadian registered charities working toward health equity by addressing the areas and needs where women are underserved.
Funding Information
- Grants up to $100,000 are available to ensure women can access the care and support they deserve.
Eligibility Criteria
- Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health™ is committed to fostering health equity for all women in Canada. They recognize there are numerous causes deserving of support; however, they are not able to support them all. The focus is to support women’s health in an effort to maximize the resources and drive meaningful impact.
Ineligible
- Shoppers Foundation for Women’s HealthTM does not fund:
- Organizations that are not Revenue Canada designated charities
- Individuals
- Fundraising initiatives, including auctions, benefits, dinners, exhibits, conferences and sports events.
- Courtesy or journal advertising campaigns
- Endowments or capital campaigns
- Sports sponsorships
- Religious organizations
- Individual fundraising campaigns (walks, runs, bikes etc.)
