Deadline: 15-Sep-21
Applications are now open for the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation’s Grant Program.
The Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation manages more than 275 permanently endowed funds. These funds were created by families, individuals, businesses and organizations to address a particular charitable purpose in our community.
Because these funds reflect the diverse interests of the community, they are able to provide grants to a wide variety of community programs.
Priorities
The Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation’s Board of Trustees decided to focus grantmaking on the top two issues actually experienced by Isabella County residents surveyed during the Needs Assessment process in 2018.
Though all program types are encouraged, the Community Foundation’s Board of Trustees is most interested in ideas that address one of the greatest concerns expressed in Isabella County’s most recent Community Needs Assessment:
- Lack of jobs that pay enough to live on; and
- Crime, violence, or bullying
