The Community Foundation for Staffordshire is seeking applications for the Small Grants Fund to organisations who provide facilities or services for people in the geographical area covered by Stafford Borough Council.
Aims
Your project must meet one of the following criteria:
- Benefit local residents
- Bring about a lasting benefit to your members or the wider community
- Help to increase your organisations sustainability or reach
- To support Covid-19 specific projects that support residents and communities who have been affected by the pandemic.
Funding Information
To apply for a grant of between £200 and £1,000 please submit an application using the online application facility.
Beneficiaries
- In order to qualify for a grant from this scheme your project must be supporting the following types of beneficiary:
- People resident in Stafford borough, including Stone and the surrounding villages
- People who are eligible to use locally provided services
- They will only fund up to 75% of the project costs
- This fund cannot support any organisation whose primary beneficiaries are:
- Not resident in Stafford Borough
Geographical Reach
- The Foundation will support organisations based in, or working for the benefit of people in the following local authority areas: Stafford.
- This fund cannot support organisations who are based in, or working in the following local authority areas:
- Cannock Chase, East Staffordshire, Lichfield, Newcastle under Lyme, South Staffordshire, Staffordshire Moorlands, Stoke on Trent or Tamworth
- Any area outside Staffordshire
Eligibility Criteria
- The Foundation will support the following types of organisation:
- Constituted community groups
- Constituted voluntary groups
- Registered Charities
- Social Enterprises
- This fund will not offer funding to the following organisations:
- Non-constituted community groups
- Non-constituted voluntary groups
- Organisations that have been established less than 12 months
- Statutory organisations
- Public sector bodies
- Organisations that have a statutory responsibility
- Organisations that do not have a proven track record of service delivery
- Limited companies, sole traders or partnerships without charitable aims
- Organisations with an annual income of more than £100,000
