The Denver Foundation is accepting applications for The Greenwood Fund, a donor-advised fund of The Denver Foundation to support the conservation of museum artifacts and collections care projects within the museum community of Colorado and Wyoming.
The Denver Foundation is the largest and most experienced community foundation in the Rocky Mountain West.
For more than 90 years, Denver residents have trusted the Foundation to steward charitable funds to meet today’s needs and tomorrow’s opportunities.
Funding Information
- Grants typically range from $1,000 – $3,000
Eligibility Criteria
- The museum must be located in Colorado or Wyoming.
- The museum must have current 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.
- The museum must be open to the public on a regular basis.
- It is preferred that the museum have permanent collections on exhibit.
- Funds may be used to acquire, archival supplies, and outside services for the purposes of conservation or collections care.
- Funds must be used within 12 months

- Salaries
- General operating support
- Building expansions (unless for conservation labs)
- Endowments (except for conservation)
- Marketing or public relations
- Scholarships
- Travel
