Deadline: 30-Jul-21
The Greater Washington Community Foundation (GWCF) is currently seeking proposals for the Arts Forward Fund to support arts and culture organizations as they stabilize, adapt, and recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Fund’s focus is on community-based organizations with annual revenue of $3 million or less. Arts Forward Fund will prioritize organizations that are BIPOC-led and BIPOC-serving.
The Foundation also acknowledge and seek to address long-standing systemic and structural inequities in the DC region’s arts and culture field that have disadvantaged BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) leaders and communities.
Funding Information
- Typically grants will range from $5,000 to $25,000.
- They will be flexible in defining grant periods, but expect that most organizations will spend the funds within four to six months.
