The Suffolk Community Foundation is pleased to announce an open call for the Violence Against Women and Girls Fund to reduce and prevent crime, improve collaboration between services and ensure perpetrators are brought to justice.
This fund has been provided by Suffolk County Council to further the ambitions set out in the Suffolk Violence against Women and Girls Strategy 2022 – 2025.
Focus Areas
Whilst the focus for these projects is women and girls, due to the gendered nature of the crimes, they would also like to include projects to support men and boys as well as those that are transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming.
- Violence against Women and Girls can include:
- Domestic Violence and Abuse
- Forced Marriage
- Up skirting
- Sexual Exploitation
- Revenge Porn
- cyber flashing
- Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)
- faith-based abuse
- Stalking
- Prostitution
- Trafficking
- Coercive control or
- Sexual Harasment
Funding Information

Grants up to £5,000
- Grants will support pilot projects, smaller direct service delivery, and core delivery costs for existing services that meet the criteria and address the current need in Suffolk.

Grants up to £50,000
- These grants are available for up to 3 years. Evidence is required to show how the project was piloted and how it is now in a position to be integrated into the overall strategy and “business as usual” of the organization. Grants may fund existing services or facilities and new initiatives and projects.
