The Support Foundation for Civil Society is seeking applications under Fund for All Ages to support projects of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that support the well-being of the elderly affected by the earthquake after the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, and carry out activities in the fields of old age and aging, as well as on issues surrounding this field such as women, health and education.
Approaches
- Applications to the Fund for All Ages are expected to focus on at least one of the following approaches:
- Providing psycho-social support to the elderly affected by the earthquake;
- Supporting the physical well-being of the elderly affected by the earthquake;
- Technology, finance, etc. within the framework of access to services of the elderly living in the earthquake zone. Designing advocacy, cooperation and practices to ensure that the products and services produced in the fields are benefited on the basis of equal citizenship;
- Encouraging, implementing and modeling solutions to basic problems such as isolation, discrimination and employment faced by the elderly in daily life after the earthquake;
- Supporting institutions to produce common and permanent solutions in favor of the elderly within the scope of cooperation of civil society, private sector, public institutions and local governments in the earthquake region;
- Priority will be given to advocacy activities aimed at establishing and developing policies and legal infrastructure that improve the rights of the elderly in Turkey.
Funding Information
- The total amount of the grant to be distributed to NGOs within the scope of the 2023 period of the Fund for All Ages is 400,000 TL. The applicant NGO can request a maximum of 200,000 TL from the grant program.
- Duration: Maximum 12 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations that meet the following application criteria and have legal personality can apply for the grant program:
- Associations, foundations, cooperatives and other non-profit organizations established in Turkey;
- Organizations that have been actively working in the field for at least one year;
- Organizations with 2022 revenues between 40,000 TL and 4,000,000 TL;
- Organizations with experience, institutional capacity and vision in the relevant field;
- Organizations that have a project proposal to support the well-being of the elderly who were affected by the earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş and also affected the surrounding provinces.
