Deadline: 28-Feb-22
The Centers for Disease Control – CGH has launched a call for proposals for the Technical Assistance to Strengthen Health Information System Capacity in Ethiopia under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
This NOFO aims to maintain the continuity of the PEPFAR supported health information systems (HIS) and enhancing the existing systems to globally/nationally recommended web-based solutions towards meeting Ministry of Health (MoH) and PEPFAR requirements. This NOFO supports digital health solutions implementation and availability of high-quality individual level strategic information to track the progress towards the 95-95-95 in alignment with the national digital health strategy, eHealth architecture and Information Revolution Roadmap.
This NOFO will also introduce sustainability methods beyond PEPFAR funding. The NOFO ensures building local capacity to define, develop, maintain, use, and evaluate efficient, high-quality, secure, sustainable, and interoperable HIS. HIS strengthening is critical to the success of nationwide case-based surveillance (CBS). As Ethiopia reaches HIV epidemic control, the NOFO supports the use of accurate, de-duplicated, and de-identified patient level information in monitoring the performance of the clinical cascade and supporting CBS.
