The Children’s Grief Foundation of Canada (CGFC) has launched its grants program to provide funding to help develop and expand programs in Canada that support grieving children and their families.
The CGFC also aims to support research and innovation in children’s bereavement.
Funding Information
- Registered charities can apply to seek funding for up to $4,000 for their proposed project.
Eligibility Criteria
- A not-for-profit registered charity in Canada or affiliation with a not-for-profit registered charity in Canada.
Application Review Process
- The Children’s Grief Foundation of Canada will review all applications submitted by the deadline.
- All project proposals will be evaluated with consideration of the following criteria:
- The proposed project meets all guidelines for the grant.
- The proposed project will have a substantial impact on the children’s bereavement sector.
- The applicant has a budget that is realistic for the work plan.
- The applicant outlines the mechanism and the timeline for project evaluation.
- The proposed project will consider issues around inclusion and accessibility for participants.
- The proposed project has the potential for sustainability.
