The Community Foundation Dekalb County is seeking applications for its Community Grantmaking Fund to address today’s needs and prepare for tomorrow’s challenges.
The gifts of many generous people allow the Community Foundation to award grants to nonprofit organizations for charitable projects and programs that address today’s needs and prepare for tomorrow’s challenges.
Focus Areas
Grants are awarded for charitable programs and projects that address:
- Arts & Culture
- Community Development
- Education, Environment
- Health
- Human Services
- Youth Development
Types of Funds
- Early Childhood Development Fund awards grants to enhance the quality of childcare programs and/or early childhood development programs.
- Safe Child Fund supports programs that serve children who may be vulnerable due to abuse, disability or illness.
- Wyatt Memorial Fund awards grants to four organizations named by the donors. The fund also makes grants to support other charitable work that benefits the residents of Garrett, Indiana.
- Community Grantmaking Fund and Kenneth A. Boseker Memorial Fund award grants for a wide variety of charitable purposes.
Eligibility Criteria
These grants are focused on meeting the needs of the people in DeKalb County, Indiana. Grants are awarded based on the charitable objectives of the donors who established the funds.
