Deadline: 18-Nov-22
The City of Brampton is now accepting applications for the Sport Tourism Hosting Program to support sport tourism events hosted in the City of Brampton that increase tourism visitation and spend in the city.
Sport tourism events play an important role in city-building, generating a positive impact on the local economy, community development and civic pride. Tourism celebrates a destination’s greatest strengths and thrives on authentic expressions of culture, including the customs, art, food and traditions of various ethnic groups that make up a diverse destination.
Objectives
Program Objectives Tourism Sponsorship proposals are evaluated based on the ability of the event to meet program objectives. Program objectives have been developed to ensure that the City establishes sponsorship relationships that will mutually benefit the City and all funding recipients.
