The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad is seeking proposals from registered Pakistani not-for-profit organizations to provide Programming Support for the Lincoln Corners Pakistan Program that will help in maintaining open dialogue and build bridges of understanding, representing the United States’ long-standing commitment to share the ideas and values of American democracy and civil society.
Goals
- Strengthen people-to-people ties between the United States and Pakistan through shared activities and experiences with visitors to Lincoln Corners that reinforce positive relationships and increase exposure for a broad segment of Pakistani society to American information, resources, and values.
- Strengthen local partners through programming activities that increase the capacity of the partner institutions to program relevant activities and events.
Funding Information: The award ceiling is set at $100,000
Eligibility Criteria
- This funding opportunity is limited to Pakistani non-government organizations with experience working with U.S. government agencies, organizations, or individuals.
- A copy of the Pakistani organization’s certificate of registration should be provided with the proposal application.
- Applicants are only allowed to submit one proposal per organization.
- If more than one proposal is submitted from an organization, all proposals from that institution will be considered ineligible for funding.
