The UK Aid Direct is currently accepting applications for its Small Charities Challenge Fund (SCCF) with an aim to support and strengthen the work of small UK registered charities to help enhance their capacity to carry out work in the priority countries in efforts to tackle poverty and work towards achieving the Global Goals.
Funding Information
Applicants can apply for funding of up to £50,000 per grant.
Duration
UK Aid Direct Small Charities Challenge Fund (SCCF) grants can be used to fund projects of up to 2 years duration.
Number of Applications
There is no limit to the number of applications that one organisation can submit. However, a maximum number of 2 grants per organisation, can be granted.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Small Charities Challenge Fund (SCCF) is open to any small-sized, not-for-profit UK registered organisation, with an annual income of £250,000 or less
- To be considered as registered in the UK, your organisation must be registered as a not-for-profit organisation in the UK
- Organisation is part of a larger international family, they will expect you to demonstrate significant autonomy; your organisation must be registered in the UK and have its own UK specific constitution and an independent board of trustees, i.e. the board must be locally appointed and be free and able to make independent decisions on strategic and operational issues. You may be asked to provide relevant documentation as evidence of this status.
