Applications are now open for the Health Improvement Fund (Large Grants) to enable communities to flourish through improving health and wellbeing.
The aim of the NHS Health Improvement Fund is to support general health and wellbeing projects that enhance the work of the NHS in County Durham and Darlington. It will consider funding work that is additional to that which would normally be expected to be provided from revenue-funded health and social care expenditure.

Objectives
All organisations applying to the Fund will be asked to describe how their project / organization demonstrates at least one of the following objectives.

- Build resilience (helping the most disadvantaged / vulnerable to increase their health and wellbeing).
