UK PACT has launched a call for proposals for the Country Programmes for Colombia and South Africa.
UK PACT Objectives
- Through its grants, UK PACT aims to improve the capacity and capability of key public, private and civil society institutions to reduce emissions and foster inclusive economic growth in partner countries.
- From an estimated start date of January 2021, all projects will deliver capacity-building in priority areas to support partner countries to pursue greater climate ambition.
South Africa-UK PACT
This year UK PACT’s Country Programmes have been extended to South Africa. They are inviting organisations to submit expressions of interest for projects that will build capacity in the following priority sectors: energy (sub-sectors: renewable energy and alternative fuel sources development, just energy transition, energy efficiency), sustainable transport and green finance.
Colombia-UK PACT
In Colombia, UK PACT welcomes the submission of expressions of interest for projects in energy, sustainable mobility, green finance and sustainable livelihoods.
Funding Information
- South Africa-UK PACT
- UK PACT will award successful projects with grants within the range of approximately £100,000 up to a maximum of £500,000.
- Colombia-UK PACT
- Successful projects will receive UK PACT grants in the range of approximately £250,000 up to a maximum of £500,000.
