The Cumbria Community Foundation has announced Strummer Calling Community First Fund for small voluntary and community groups to address local needs and/or create opportunities that make a real difference, with priority given to groups in the Carlisle and Eden areas.
Funding Information
- Grants will normally be less than £1,000 over one year; however, there is no maximum award amount.
Eligible Projects
Examples of projects supported:
- community cinema
- camping activities for Scout groups
- expenses for volunteers and room hire for radio broadcast training
- improvements to village hall
What the Fund will not Support?
The fund will not support in addition to the normal exclusions:
- individuals
Eligibility Criteria
- volunteer-led grassroots groups which support their community.
