Deadline: 30-Apr-23
The Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust is now offering grants to those society who face the greatest challenges and whose opportunities are most limited.
As there is an ever-growing need for grants to support the essential work that many charities do, they are gradually making their criteria and priorities more focussed to ensure that they can give the limited resources that they have to projects that they believe will do the most to help those with greatest need.
Priorities
- In 2023, they are prioritising projects that rehabilitate prisoners, ex-prisoners or those at risk of offending, and children and young people in care and care leavers.
- In 2024, they are prioritising projects that focus on disability – they will publish more details later this year.
- They continue to recognise that Black Lives Matter has thrown a spotlight on the discrimination faced by the Global Majority. Across each grant round, applicants will be asked to detail how their project addresses these issues.
