UN Women is calling for proposals for the Establishment of a directory of project implementing partners in support of UN Women programmatic interventions in the Central African Republic (CAR).
Objective
Women and girls contribute and have greater influence in building lasting peace, and also benefit from natural disaster and conflict prevention and humanitarian action.
Duration
Project proposals must clearly indicate the start and end period of the project for a duration of 10 months, from February 01, 2023 to November 30, 2023.
Target area
- Haute-Kotto (Bria) and Vakaga (Birao)
- With the capacity to deploy at the national level in other localities/prefectures according to programmatic needs (please indicate the areas in which you could deploy and under what conditions)
Eligibility Criteria
National and/or international non-governmental organizations may apply:
- Having an operational presence in the project sites with available staff;
- Having worked on missions to promote gender equality and the empowerment of women;
- Proposing a realistic strategy/approach for the participation of women and youth in integration peacebuilding processes at all levels. A good gender sensitive contextual analysis in the project proposal would be an asset.
- Having knowledge of the socio-cultural realities, norms and values of the areas of intervention
- Having provided the administrative documents (Ministry of Planning approval);
- Having headquarters, administration/staff/Asset, equipment, etc.
