Deadline: 26 May 2017
Within the scope of the Local Integrated Development (LID) Project, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Bosnia & Herzegovina has announced a call for the local governments, to submit proposals for priority development projects which will support municipalities and cities to successfully transform their development priorities into concrete and implementable projects.
Projects supported by the Project Fund will be selected on a competitive basis, meaning that only the best-ranked project proposals will be supported following the proposals’ evaluation. In 2017, the Project Fund will support the implementation of priority projects for the seven listed local governments. An additional call for all LID partner local governments will be announced in the fourth quarter of 2017.
The overall objective of the project is to raise the standard of living and the social cohesion in BiH through inclusive sustainable socio-economic development. Moreover, LID project aims to stimulate good governance and economic development and to promote social inclusion at the local level through integrated local development in the areas, primarily affected by floods and areas populated with a large percentage of returnees and/internally displaced persons.
