The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has announced the Call for Community Organizations to strengthen community participation in the identification of areas of environmental and cultural importance in the upper basin of the Sumapaz river for the construction of the PDET.
The call is limited to the paths of the upper Sumapaz river basin: San Antonio, El Toldo, Las Vegas, Chorreras, Lagunitas, Tunal Alto, Santo Domingo, Capitolio, San Juan, La Unión, Tunal Bajo, Concepción, Nueva Granada, San José.
The organization can present its proposal to identify areas of environmental and cultural importance for the construction of the PDET. In any case, you must specify in the proposal the trails you will work on.
Funding Information
- The selected organizations will have a support of 23,000,000 Colombian pesos for their execution and will be selected by a committee made up of UNDP staff and the High Council for the Rights of Victims, the Peace and Reconciliation.
- The execution period of the proposal is two months.
Eligibility Criteria
- Community-based organizations from town 20 of the upper Sumapaz river basin can be presented, such as Foundations, corporations, cooperatives, producer associations, community action boards and aqueducts.
- The proposal must be thought and presented by the community organizations, and they will be executed by themselves with commitment, responsibility and ownership.
Requirements
The proposal must be sent by filling in the attached form, which contains the following fields:
- Organization data.
- goals.
- Methodology, participants, and geographic area.
- Workplan. Make sure to include at least two meetings with UNDP to present progress in your activities.
- Budget. Be sure to budget for the cost of biosecurity measures.
