The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is calling for proposals for the Small-Grant Opportunity Call to support the resumption or development of non-agricultural micro-entrepreneurship / entrepreneurship by socially vulnerable individuals or families.
Eligibility Criteria
- Permanent residences of Gegharkunik or Syunik marzes (including those displaced from Artsakh or other border settlements as a result of the conflict, residing in the given marzes),
- Has an existing / reopened business in the region of non-agricultural production or service provision or plans to start a new one, for the implementation of which he/she has acquired the necessary professional skills through trainings or at least 1 year of practical application.
- Has a realistic idea (business initiative), which can be implemented as a result of the requested grant and his own investments within 6 months, after which the business will cross the calculated profitability (non-profit) threshold. The amount of the requested grant may not exceed the equivalent of $ 1,450
- Who plans to make investments (space, tool, material, device, indirect utility cost or other types);
- Undertakes to participate in methodological guidance meetings and classes (2 hours each, up to 24 meetings), including online zoom platform, providing its own internet connection and device (phone or computer).
Ineligible
Persons who do not meet the above-mentioned requirements, such as:
- business trainers consultants,
- the same people with more than one business plan,
- resellers
- Persons not legally entitled to engage in business activities (public servants, etc.)
- Persons with a block on their bank account (the grant is provided only non-cash).
