Deadline: 17-Sep-21
The West Devon Borough Council is inviting applications for the Okehampton s106 Community Facilities Grant.
The Community Facilities Grant for local not-for-profit community groups to provide new or improved facilities to meet an increased need as a result of housing development.
Examples of projects that could benefit from the funding boost include (but are not limited to):
- New or improved play and sports facilities
- Creation of open spaces or allotments
- New or improved community centres
- Creation of workspace for community enterprises
Funding Information
- There is a total of £10,000 s106 funding available. There is no maximum limit for applications but organisations seeking funding need to be aware that there will be competing projects also applying for financial support. - Groups must be based in the locality and their work must benefit that local community.
- Town and Parish Councils are eligible to apply for funding.
- Businesses and individuals are not eligible for funding.
- Projects that seek to promote religious beliefs are not eligible for funding.
- Schools are not eligible to apply for funding.
- Applications from regional/national charities will not be considered.
