The Cumbria Community Foundation is offering Cumbria Young People’s Fund (Individuals) for volunteer-led community and grassroots groups that support young people aged 14-22 by helping them to fulfil their potential and develop life skills.
Cumbria Community Foundation is part of a national and international network of community foundations. Together they seek to support people and organisations wishing to invest in the local community.
Funding Information
- The maximum grant is normally £10,000 per year.
Eligible Projects
Examples of projects supported:
- a programme to help young people build their confidence and resilience and improve their communication and team working skills
- community-based youth group activities
- running costs of a youth group in a deprived urban area
- counselling sessions for young people in hostels for the homeless
Eligibility Criteria
- Volunteer-led community and grassroots groups working with young people aged 14-22 (groups working with at-risk young people are particularly welcome).
