The Department of Homeland Security and Office of Procurement Operations – Grants Division is seeking applications for the Cyber-security and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Cyber Security Awareness Campaign.
The Cyber-security and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) serves as the Nation’s risk advisor to build the national capacity to defend against cyber-attacks, coordinate security and resilience efforts across the public and private sectors, and identify and address the most significant risks to the national critical functions provided by the Nation’s critical infrastructure.
A comprehensive nationwide cyber-security awareness campaign will:
- Educate at-risk segments of the public about the dangers of cyber threats and key actions that can be taken to mitigate risks;
- Identify effective approaches to increase cyber-security awareness among the general public and specific target audiences;
- Build relationships and coalitions across cyber-security stakeholders to support a broad national effort;
- Execute means of measuring impact of campaign strategies on increasing public cyber-security awareness, and
- Serve to further the Administration’s National Security Strategic priority to build a culture of preparedness, informing and empowering communities and individuals to obtain the skills and take the preparatory actions necessary to become more resilient against the threats and hazards that Americans face.

Eligibility Criteria
- Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) IRS status, other than institutions of higher education.
- Financial assistance will be awarded through a competitive process. Eligible applicants will include public or private non-profit organizations, dedicated to promoting cyber-security-related awareness and safe behavior online through creative website content and additional communication mediums nationwide. CISA will not review applications that fail to meet the eligibility criteria.
