The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation in Manhattan, Kansas has established the 2020 COVID-19 Recovery Fund to accept donations from individuals and businesses to help with recovery efforts.
Access to these funds by area 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, churches, or government agencies who are helping address critical needs as a result of the coronaviris in the community Funding available will be dependant on the amount that is donated by individuals and businesses.

Funding Parameters
- These grants are for the most basic human needs as a result of COVID-19
- Funds to benefit Manhattan and Riley County residents that are most in need as a result of COVID-19 (for example; low-income, elderly, mental health patients, individuals experiencing difficulty paying bills as a result of COVID-19)
- Could benefit Manhattan/Riley County area non-profits by supplying their needs (supplies needed as a result of COVID-19 in order for them to carry out their work and assist clients)
- This fund will not pay salaries for employees of the non-profits
- Funding will not be granted to agencies outside of the Riley County Kansas area
