The Frisco Arts is inviting nonprofit arts organizations for its Art tourism Grants program.
The funding for these grants comes from a percentage of the Hotel Occupancy Tax, paid for by visitors to Frisco and approved by the Frisco City Council. The City of Frisco’s Arts Tourism grant is managed by Frisco Arts.
Frisco believe that thriving arts and culture fuels innovation, economic growth, and community. They are a center of diverse partnerships and networks, joining giving with arts advocacy.
They invest in artists, arts organizations, art-repreneurs, and young creatives in “Sports City USA” through grant making, capacity building, and scholarships.
Funding Information
- Pre-Covid, the City of Frisco approved $175,000 in arts grants bringing quality music, dance, theatre, film, and visual art to Frisco.
- For the 2021-2022 Season, the City Council has approved a total of $100,000 towards the Arts Tourism grant program.
- Nonprofit arts organizations who offer quality programs benefiting the citizens of Frisco and increasing arts tourism to Frisco qualify for the annual Arts Tourism grants.
- All funded programs must occur in the City of Frisco to increase arts tourism.
