The Government of the District of Columbia and Department of Energy and Environment (the Department) is seeking applications from eligible entities to create a Kingman Rangers Workforce Development Program.
The new Rangers program will improve the visitor experience and restore habitat on the Anacostia River’s Kingman and Heritage Islands and help create pathways to employment for disadvantaged District residents and students.
Funding Information
- The amount available for the project is approximately $222,400, with the potential for multiple years and additional funding.
Eligibility Criteria
All the checked institutions may apply for these grants:
- Nonprofit organizations, including those with IRS 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) determinations;
- Faith-based organizations;
- Government agencies;
- Universities/educational institutions; and
- Private Enterprises.
