The United Way of Norman is seeking applications for its 2022 grant program to meet basic needs and tackle the root of community issues.
The funding strategy focuses on long-term goals, such as reducing the risky behavior of children, increasing the economic stability of families, and improving the health and safety of children and adults in the community.
All organizations seeking funding from United Way of Norman for FY2022 must complete a Letter of Intent application.
Criteria
- The Request For Proposal (RFP) Process allows qualified non-profit organizations to submit program proposals aligned with United Way of Norman’s Community Impact Goals.
- It is a competitive grant review process.
- Collaboration and creativity are encouraged.
- Funded programs will be required to measure prescribed outcomes and report them to United Way and the community.
Timeline
- Letter of Intent Issued: January 6, 2021.
- Letter of Intent Due: January 22, 2021 @ 5:00 p.m.
- Request For Proposal Issued: February 3, 2021.
- Request For Proposal Due: February 26, 2021 @ 5:00 p.m.
- Councils Meet for Funding Decisions: March/April 2021.
- Board Approves Funding: May 2021.
- Award Letters Issued: May 31, 2021.
- FY2022 Funding: Begins July 1, 2021.
