Deadline: 10-Jan-22
For its Spring 2022 funding round, The Fore is offering grants which have the potential to have a transformational impact on an organisation.
Transformational impact includes helping organisations become more sustainable, more efficient, to grow significantly or enabling an organisation to take a major step forward of some kind. They see their grants as investments in the organisations they support.
The Fore is particularly looking to fund small organisations working with marginalised groups and led by people in the community that may have found it hard to access trust and foundation funding in the past. They want to be different.
The funding process is specifically designed to level the playing field and give no advantage to those with fundraising experience or connections.
Funding Information
This fund is offering grants of up to £15,000 over up to 18 months to help fantastic small charities and social enterprises plan for the longer term and gain a stronger footing in a post-coronavirus world.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Fore accepts applications from registered charities, community interest companies, charitable incorporated organisations and community benefit societies.
- The Fore can only accept applications from companies limited by guarantee if they are also Registered Charities or Community Interest Companies. Otherwise, they cannot accept applications from companies limited by guarantee, even if they have other elements associated with social enterprises (such as asset locks, non-distribution clauses or charitable/social purposes).
- The Fore is unable to fund organisations whose registration as a charity, community interest company, charitable incorporated organisation or community benefit society in the UK is in process but has not yet been approved. Please do not register for one of The Fore’s funding rounds until you have received confirmation from the relevant regulator that your registration has been approved.
- The organisation needs to have a base and be registered within the UK.
- The Fore only provides grants to organisations with less than £500,000 annual income in the previous financial year. They regret that even if your income this year will be under £500,000 you cannot apply until next year.
