The Mayflex UK Community Fund is now open for applications.
The Mayflex UK Community Fund has been established to support not for profit organisations within a 10 mile radius of their site in Aston, Birmingham with priority to organisations operating in Aston tackling disadvantage through community initiatives.
Aims
The fund aims to support people in Aston, applications must meet one of the following aims:
- Projects that improve the quality of life for communities
- Projects that support general community activity that promotes good health and well being
- Projects to enhance the skills of young people to improve employment opportunities
- Projects which support ethnically diverse communities
Funding Information
Grants of up to £2,000 for organisations, funding must be spent within 1 year.
What will they support?
- Start-up costs for a new project or organisation
- To extend or develop an existing project
- For pilot project (to gather research or evidence)
- To purchase equipment or resources
Eligibility Criteria
You can apply to this fund if you are one of the following:
- Registered charities
- Constituted Community groups
- Companies Limited by Guarantee with charitable aims
- Community Interest Companies
- Co-operatives – registered Community Benefit Societies and registered Industrial and Provident Societies
- Social Enterprises
Note: Funding to Community Interest Companies and other non-charities may include conditions to restrict funding to charitable objectives only.
