The Kelly Family Charitable Trust Grant is now open for charities working in fields including early intervention, mediation, prison services and services for families affected by sexual abuse, physical abuse and domestic violence, among others.
Areas
The three areas of activity that the charity wishes to support are:
- Interventions that support families and help them in ways that prevent the fracture of the family unit, eg practical family support, relationship counselling, mediation
- Families where sexual abuse, physical abuse, domestic violence, alcohol abuse and drug abuse threaten the integrity of the family unit
- Prisoners and in particular their families, during and after the period of imprisonment
Funding Information
The Foundation generally offer grants worth up to £5,000 – though trustees will consider requests for higher amounts.
Exclusions
The following will not be considered:
- Non-registered charities
- Individual requests for grants
- National charities (only regional projects will be considered)
- General appeals
- Organisations with specific religious or political agendas
