The Nixa Community Foundation is seeking applications for the 2022 Nixa ARPA Funds Grant Program to improve the quality of life for individuals in the Nixa area through thoughtful grantmaking and community leadership.
The Nixa Community Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors, chosen for their knowledge of the area. Grant decisions are made by the community leaders serving on the Board of Directors.
Funding Information
- Total amount available to grant is $30,000.00.
- Applicants may apply for up to $10,000 in funding for this grant cycle.
Eligibility Criteria
- Grant proposals are accepted according to an announced time table, and grant recommendations are made as funds are available.
- Nixa ARPA funding is intended for organizations to address the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the residents of the City of Nixa, Missouri.
- Applicants must use awarded grant funds to benefit or serve residents of the City of Nixa, Missouri.
- According to the U.S. Treasury Department, ARPA funds can go to a nonprofit, which they define as follows: "Nonprofit means a nonprofit organization that is exempt from Federal income taxation and that is described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code."
