The Willmar Area Community Foundation (WACF) is pleased to launch the Brainerd Lakes Area Women‘s Fund Grants to support innovative solutions to the challenges facing Women and children that improve the community and positively impact the future.
Focus Areas
One time and on-going projects and initiatives that support the educational, economic, social and health issues faced by:
- Women
- Children
- Organizations that serve women and Children
Funding Information
Funding Amount Range: up to $10,000 (Average grant is $3,000-$5,000)
The Foundation will Fund
- Capital projects
- New or expanded programs/projects
- Organizations serving women and children
Geographic Area: Grants must serve women and/or children within the Brainerd Lakes area.
Eligibility Criteria
501(c) 3 nonprofit organizations, schools or government entities.
Favorable Considerations
- Projects that support women and children in education, economic, social and health initiatives.
- Projects and programs that provide innovative solutions to the challenges facing women and children.
- Projects and programs that improve the community and positively impact the future.
- Projects/Programs that support diversity, inclusion and equity.
