The Community Foundation of Chippewa County is pleased to announce Community Needs Grants to support proposals on arts and culture, community development, education, environment and animal welfare, and health and human services.
They favor grant proposals that:
- Originate in Chippewa County and demonstrate strong volunteer involvement
- Promote collaboration and reduce service duplication
- Help people help themselves
- Build upon the strengths of communities
- Make a tangible difference in meeting an important community need
- Demonstrate a high level of sustaifnability
Funding Information
Generally grants range from $200 to $6,000
Eligibility Criteria
- They award grants to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or public charities that qualify as defined in section 170(b)(1)(A) of the Internal Revenue Code- spanning the fields of arts and culture, community development, education, environment & animal welfare, and health & human services that benefit the communities of Chippewa County.
- The Community Needs Grants invest in the charitable efforts of nonprofits and community organizations where they will have the greatest impact within the community.
