The Pittsburgh Foundation is now accepting applications for the Lemington Home Fund to benefit African American Seniors.
The Lemington Home Fund was established to support a continuum of care that includes community-based services, in-home supports, personal care homes, assisted living facilities and nursing home facilities.
The Fund will be used for the benefit of low and no-income seniors, with the intention of primarily serving the African American population of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Funding Information
- Typical Grant Size: Generally, The Pittsburgh Foundation provides one-year grants, with an average grant size between $50,000 and $100,000. Multi-year grant requests are welcome.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for grantmaking support from the Lemington Fund, your nonprofit organization must be:
- Located within Allegheny County or demonstrate service to Allegheny County residents.
- Designated by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization. (If your organization does not have 501(c)(3) status, you may apply utilizing a fiscal sponsor.)
- Priority will be given to organizations that primarily serve African American seniors.
